Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science for Neurodiversity and Workforce Readiness is a 120-credit, four-year hybrid degree designed to help neurodiverse students build the academic, career, and independent living skills needed for long-term success. The curriculum combines classroom learning, practical experience, and career preparation through four integrated areas.

General Education

33 Credit Hours

Build a strong academic foundation in communication, mathematics, psychology, digital literacy, and essential life skills.

Core Courses

48 Credit Hours

Develop executive functioning, communication, emotional intelligence, self-advocacy, assistive technology, and workplace readiness.

Specialization Track

24 Credit Hours

The Bachelor of Science for Neurodiversity and Workforce Readiness offers two admission pathways, providing flexible entry options for current high school students, graduates, and adult learners.

Pathway A — High School Dual Enrollment
For Current High School Students
Designed for students who wish to begin university study while completing their high school education.
Entry requirements:
  • Current enrolment in an approved secondary or homeschool program
  • Active IEP or 504 Plan
  • Written intent to defer the high school diploma until program completion
  • Recommendation from an IEP team member, guidance counsellor, or special education coordinator
  • Approval from both the secondary school and Holmes University
*Important: The high school diploma is awarded upon successful completion of the program. Students entering through this pathway are not required to complete a basic skills examination.
Pathway B — Postsecondary Admission
For Graduates & Adult Learners
Designed for high school graduates and adult learners ready to begin their university studies.
Entry requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or recognised equivalent
  • Current or previous IEP or 504 Plan, or other disability documentation for applicants aged 22+
  • Academic intake interview
  • Evidence of readiness for postsecondary study
*Important: Applicants without evidence of high school graduation must complete a state-recognised basic skills assessment before enrolment.
General Admission Requirements

The Bachelor of Science for Neurodiversity and Workforce Readiness welcomes neurodiverse students seeking a supportive pathway to university study, degree completion, and future employment.

All applicants must:
  • Submit a completed Holmes University Florida application
  • Attend an intake interview with the Neurodiverse Learning Program Coordinator
  • Provide relevant health and immunisation documentation, where applicable
  • Complete the FERPA and Accessibility Services intake form
